Harry Heng, Executive Director
He has 12 years of corporate planning and international business development experience working in a listed Singapore-HQ MNC as well as 6 years in strategic and general management positions in promising new companies in the engineering and technology sectors. He was the founding member and Senior Vice President of a water treatment company with presence in both the United States and Singapore. Prior to that, he held concurrent roles as corporate planner, business development and investment manager in the marine division of Singapore Technologies Engineering, and the general manager of one of its subsidiary, STSE Engineering Services Pte. Ltd.

He practiced as a system and project engineer for 5 years upon first graduation. He graduated with distinctions with BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University (under a Singapore Technologies' scholarship), obtained a MBA from the National University of Singapore, schooled in commercial legal practices, and conferred the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. His forte are analyzing complex business situations and crafting clear strategic, business and financial plans, seeking strategic partners and negotiating the close of the deal.

Harry founded his own corporate development and finance firm, Xcipient Pte Ltd, in 2004, and has accumulated vast experience in seeking, analyzing, investing, and managing new business ventures and invests in private equity himself. Harry, in various capacities, has cultivated over 5 new companies over the years.
