Parag is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK (2005). He has been a past consultant to Scottish universities and businesses on commercializing their early stage healthcare technologies. For one of the very first projects he undertook, the Orthominder™ attracted significant worldwide licensing interest and a major funding commitment from the university to invest in further prototype development. He gained further exposure in best practice development in IP transfer working on a European project DIFUSE, on behalf of the University of Strathclyde. In the last 2 years, he has been mainly involved in marketing and distributing Breastlight, a women's healthcare innovation from Scotland in SE Asia (Singapore) and India. He has also conducted in depth primary market research and corporate marketing in India for the principals, PWB Health and Fertility Focus Ltd. Parag is an associate partner at Cross Bay Medical, a global network of innovative healthcare distributors, with a presence in US, Italy, Holland, France and China.
